What Enterprises Should Do About IPv6 In 2010

This white paper from Cisco explains what the coming transition means for enterprises.

Cisco: In this white paper, Cisco provides an overview of the problem surrounding the diminishing supply of IPv4 addresses. It then discusses the impact of the transition to IPv6 for enterprise internet access, internet presence and intranet.

Cisco recommends, "In 2010 enterprises should assess their position toward IPv6 with an aim to drafting their own requirements, plans, and opportunities. Indeed, some have already identified IPv6 as a networking tool, better than a (re)numbering constraint, and everybody should share this opportunity."
