More than half of U.S. cell phone owners use their phones to surf the Internet.

PCMag: According to the latest report from the Pew Internet & American Life Project, 55 percent of all American cell phone owners say they use their phones to browse the Internet, an increase from 31 percent in 2009. The report also revealed that nearly 90 percent of U.S. adults now own a cell phone.
