In a new survey, 11 percent of households report experiencing problems on Facebook.

Consumer Reports: Consumer Reports' annual State of the Net report finds growing privacy concerns about Facebook. "Some people are sharing too much," the report warns. 4.8 million people have posted where they are planning to travel, and 4.7 have liked pages related to diseases or treatments. Even more troubling, 13 million users have never set their privacy controls, and 28 percent share all of their posts with everyone. In the last year, 7 million households (11 percent of users) say they have had problems with Facebook, a 30 percent increase over last year.

The reports also points out that the social network tracks every time you visit a page with a Like button, even if you don't like a page. And in the U.S., users have few laws protecting their privacy rights.
