Android Malware Volume Jumps 400%

In addition, 1 in 20 enterprise mobile devices has gone missing since last summer.

InformationWeek: Juniper Networks has published a report titled "Mobile Malicious Threats" that includes several troubling findings. First, since the summer of 2010, malware targeting the Android platform has quadrupled. Also, during the same time period, one in twenty enterprise mobile devices has been lost or stolen.

Experts say that businesses and consumers are slowly adopting security tools which will help to counter these threats.
