The cyberattack has now compromised more than a million Web sites.

eWeek: Security vendor Websense says it has been tracking a new SQL injection attack since March 29, when it had compromised 28,000 Web sites. Now the attack has infected more than a million sites and is continuing to spread.

The "LizaMoon" attack redirects users to a site which informs the visitor that they have several threats on their computer and attempts to sell fake anti-virus software. So far, only 17 of the 43 most popular antivirus software packages are able to detect the attack.
