A new memoir by Paul Allen paints an unflattering picture of his business partner.

Wall Street Journal: In a new memoir, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen offers his version of events in the company's history and paints a less-than-flattering picture of his business partner, Bill Gates. Allen expresses bitterness about not receiving enough credit for his contribution's to Microsoft's success, and he details his work since leaving the company.

In response to the book, Gates released a statement that said, "While my recollection of many of these events may differ from Paul's, I value his friendship and the important contributions he made to the world of technology and at Microsoft."
