MySQL.com Database Compromised By Blind SQL Injection

A hacker has released a list of names and passwords he was able to retrieve from MySQL's Web servers.

Techie Buzz: The Web site for the popular open source database MySQL has been hacked, ironically enough, with a SQL injection attack. In a hacker newsletter, the individual behind the attack published a list of usernames and passwords obtained through the attack.

In January, a Web site said that that MySQL's site was also vulnerable to cross-site scripting attacks.
