Cnet: When Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems, Java founder James Gosling made it clear he wasn't happy with the merger and declined to join Oracle. Now, he has a new position at Google, though it's not yet clear exactly what he'll be doing there. "I don't know what I'll be working on," blogged Gosling. "I expect it'll be a bit of everything, seasoned with a large dose of grumpy curmudgeon."
Apparently, this wasn't the first job offer Gosling received. "One of the toughest things about life is making choices. I had a hard time saying 'no' to a bunch of other excellent possibilities," he wrote.
