IBM to Buy Management Software Developer

Tririga's software for the building and real estate industries will become part of the Tivoli line.

InformationWeek: IBM has purchased Las Vegas-based Tririga, Inc., for an undisclosed sum. Tririga makes applications for the building and real estate industries. Its products will become part of IBM's Tivoli line of management software and will bolster its Smarter Planet offerings. "The combination of Tririga and IBM smarter building solutions will deliver the industry's most comprehensive capabilities that span the needs of all industries for managing facilities and real estate portfolios," said IBM's Florence Hudson.

One-third of Fortune 100 companies and 15 federal executive departments use Tririga's software.
