25 More Countries Get iPad 2 on Friday

The device will roll out in many European countries this week, and in several Asian countries in April.

The Mac Observer: Beginning at 5 pm local time on March 25, Apple fans in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K. will be able to purchase the iPad 2 at retail outlets. Online sales will begin in those same countries at 1 a.m. the same day. Both the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi plus 3G models will be available.

Apple says it will launch the device in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and some other countries in April.
