China Dismisses Google Accusations on Gmail

An official says Google's accusations are "unacceptable."

Reuters: Yesterday, Google accused the Chinese government of intentionally causing problems for Chinese Gmail users and trying to make it look like Google's fault. Today, China responded when a spokesperson said simply, "This is an unacceptable accusation."

Chinese Gmail users continue to be able to log in to their accounts, but are unable to send e-mail or access their contacts.
