Hackers Steal Secure ID Token Data

RSA Security says that hackers gained access to information about its two-factor authentication system that protects many financial and corporate networks.

BBC: Officials from RSA Security have confirmed that hackers have stolen information related to its two-factor authentication systems. The stolen information could help hackers break into banking or corporate networks protected by the company's products.

RSA said it will provide "immediate remediation" advice to customers. The company is also recommending that customers tighten up their password policies, monitor social networks and reminds end users of the dangers of responding to suspicious e-mail.
