Cisco, Microsoft, eBay, Adobe and others earn kudos for their corporate citizenship.

Forbes: New York City's Ethisphere Institute has published its annual list of the world's most ethical companies. In order to make the list, companies must receive enough points on the organization's rating system that uses surveys and reviews of corporate activities to judge a company's practices. This year, 110 firms made the cut, including eBay and Microsoft, both newcomers to the list. Other tech-related companies on the list include the following:

  • Accenture
  • Adobe Systems
  • Avaya
  • Best Buy
  • Cisco Systems
  • Freescale Semiconductor
  • Juniper Networks
  • Premier Farnell
  • Salesforce.com
  • Symantec Corporation
  • T-Mobile USA
  • Teradata Corporation
  • Texas Instruments
  • Xerox
