HP Reportedly Considers Selling PC Business

A Chinese newspaper reports that Samsung would be the most likely buyer.

DigiTimes: A Chinese-language report in the Commercial Times says that HP is considering selling its PC business. The article says the company has had contact with Samsung, Lenovo and Foxconn Electronics, and that Samsung would appear to be the most likely buyer.

However, other sources say such a sale seems unlikely, particularly given CEO Leo Apotheker's recent announcement that the company would put webOS on all of its PCs.
