Chrome Beta Hits V.10

Updated browser boasts much faster JavaScript handling.

Cnet: As scheduled, Google has pushed out the latest update to its Chrome browser beta. The biggest improvement in Chrome 10 is the new "Crankshaft" version of the new V8 JavaScript engine, which improves performance on benchmark tests by up to 65 percent. The browser also adds hardware-accelerated video, changes to settings controls and password synchronization.

Still in development, Chrome 11 will likely include a new remote desktop feature called "chromoting."
