Apple Audit Details Changes at Foxconn

The company terminated relationships with three Asian suppliers because they did not meet its standards.

Wall Street Journal: Apple has released a report detailing its findings in its annual audit of suppliers. According to the report, COO Tim Cook and other company representatives visited Foxconn last year after reports of suicides. The factory made a number of changes suggested by the team, including better training of counselors and establishing a 24-hour care center.

Apple also says it found 91 underage workers at the suppliers it audited and terminated its relationship with one company as a result. Apple also severed ties with two other suppliers that did not meet company standards.
