iPhone 4 Breaks All Verizon Sales Records in Two Hours

The network operator stopped accepting pre-orders Thursday afternoon.

Macworld: Verizon began taking pre-orders for the iPhone 4 at 3 am ET Thursday morning. Within two hours, the company broke all previous sales records. By the afternoon, the company had to stop taking pre-orders.

Consumers who would still like to purchase a Verizon iPhone will have to wait for the phones to become publicly available on February 10.
