Systems that rely on the faulty chipset won't begin resume shipments to customers until March or April.

InformationWeek: Earlier this week, Intel disclosed that the chipset for its Sandy Bridge processors contained a flaw that could cause performance to degrade over time. Manufacturers were encouraged to stop building PCs with the processor until Intel could fix the problem.

Now Intel says the fixed processor/chipset packages won't begin shipping until the end of February. That means PCs using the parts won't be available to end users until March or possibly even April.
