CandyTech releases a new report and infographic that shows the social networking site's phenomenal growth.

TechCrunch: Czech marketing firm CandyTech has released some new data and an infographic that displays interesting information about Facebook. Key stats include the following:

  • The number Facebook users skyrocketed from 337 million to 585 million in 2010.
  • Roughly 7.9 new users signed up for Facebook every second.
  • The U.S. has the most Facebook users, followed by Indonesia and the U.K.
  • The majority of users are between the ages of 18 and 34, but the fastest growing age group is seniors over 65.
