Police Arrest Five over Anonymous WikiLeaks Attacks

The UK has arrested five men for the attacks on the MasterCard, Visa and PayPal Web sites.

The Guardian: Five men, ages 15, 16, 19, 20 and 26, have been arrested in the UK on suspicion being involved in the "Anonymous" attacks on the Web sites of PayPal, Visa and Mastercard. The "hacktivists" launched assaults on the sites after the companies cut off services for WikiLeaks following the release of US diplomatic cables.

In the UK, involvement in a denial of service attack carries a maximum fine of £5,000.
