Verizon is offering iPhone users yet another reason to choose its network over AT&T.

Wall Street Journal: Giving potential customers yet another reason to choose it's network over AT&T, Verizon has announced that it will offer a $30 unlimited data plan for the iPhone--at least for now. “I’m not going to shoot myself in the foot,” said Verizon chief operating officer, Lowell McAdam. He added that not offering an unlimited plan would put up a barrier for customers who might otherwise switch from AT&T.

However, McAdam later clarified that the unlimited plan is a temporary offer and that the company will transition to a tiered plan in the future.
