DOJ Indicts Display Exec for Price-Fixing

Twenty-two executives have now been charged with conspiring to set prices for LCD panels.

NetworkWorld: The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted Ding Hui Joe, president of Taiwanese display manufacturer HannStar, on charges of price-fixing. Joe is the 22nd executive accused of conspiring to set prices for LCD panels.

Last year, HannStar pleaded guilty to related charges and paid a $30 million criminal fine. Joe faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
