The 5 Coolest Things to Come out of CES

Mobility, particularly 4G and tablets, are big stories at the Consumer Electronics Show.

NetworkWorld: As always, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas has plenty of hot new gadgets on display. This year, the big trends center around mobility, with 4G and tablet products getting a lot of attention. Network World runs down five of the most interesting new products at the show:

  1. AT&T's LGE Network, which will begin providing 4G services later this year
  2. The Motorola Atrix 4G, a smartphone with a laptop dock
  3. RIM's Playbook 4G, BlackBerry's tablet PC for enterprise users
  4. Android 3.0, a.k.a., "Honeycomb," the latest update for Google's mobile operating system
  5. Cisco's Cius, another enterprise-focused tablet
