PC Magazine: New data from Experian Hitwise shows that 2010 was a great year for Facebook. The term "Facebook" was the most common search term in the U.S. for the second year in a row, with 2.11 percent of searches. If you also count "Facebook login" and "Facebook.com," which were the second and fifth most popular search terms, Facebook searches accounted for 3.48 percent of the top 50 searches.
Facebook was also the most visited Web site, the first time it nabbed that honor. Facebook.com had 8.93 percent of all U.S. visits between January and November 2010, while second place Google.com had 7.19 percent. However, if you count all Google sites (including YouTube), the company had 9.85 percent of visits.
