Security firm says that hackers will increasingly target geolocation services, URL services, Apple gadgets and social networking sites.

Cnet: In a new report, security vendor McAfee says that next year cybercriminals will target iPad and iPhone users, geolocation services, URL shorteners, and social networking sites. "We've seen significant advancements in device and social network adoption, placing a bulls-eye on the platforms and services users are embracing the most," said McAfee's Vincent Weafer. "These platforms and services have become very popular in a short amount of time, and we're already seeing a significant increase in vulnerabilities, attacks and data loss."

The report also predicts WikiLeaks copycats and a rise in politically motivated attacks.
