New Facebook Features Exposed in Accidental Update

The social networking site experienced a brief outage while they rolled back the prototype features that slipped out briefly.

Mashable: On Thursday, some Facebook users got a 45-minute glimpse of prototype features that the site hadn't meant to roll out. The Pages feature got a new tab-free design, a "switch accounts" feature for Pages admins and new integrated questions. Other temporary updates included a "Memories" feature, an outside world filter feed, a lightbox interface for photos and the removal of the "comment" button from the comment box.

The site experienced a temporary outage while Facebook rolled back the inadvertent updates.
