Yahoo, Twitter, LinkedIn and World of Warcraft are asking users to change their passwords.

BBC: Days after a hack of the Gawker Web sites that exposed commenters' passwords, other major sites are asking users to change their passwords as a precaution. Yahoo, Twitter, LinkedIn and World of Warcraft are all asking users to select a new password.

Many of the users on the site selected easy-to-guess passwords; "123456," "password" and "12345678" were the three most common. Security vendor Sophos reports that 33 percent of people use the same password for every site they visit.
