A Seattle judge dismissed the lawsuit against Google, Apple, Facebook and others for not being specific enough.

Wall Street Journal: A Seattle judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a company controlled by Paul Allen against Google, YouTube, Apple, Facebook, Yahoo, AOL, eBay, Netflix, OfficeMax and Staples. The lawsuit, filed in August, accused the companies of infringing on four patents developed by Interval Research Corp., an Allen-owned company that has been out of business for a decade. The judge said the allegations weren't specific enough.

Allen has until Dec. 28 to file a new, more specific lawsuit. A spokesman said that he will do so.
