Unnamed sources say the company is considering splitting apart its dial-up Internet service business and its online content.

Reuters: An unnamed source at AOL tells Reuters that the company is resurrecting discussions of plans to split apart and sell the company's different business lines. The dial-up Internet service subscription business might be attractive to a buyer like EarthLink, while the company's ad-based Web content might be a good match for Yahoo.

Both AOL and Yahoo declined to comment on the story.
