Cyber Monday Spending Tops $1B, ComScore Says

Monday set a new online sales record.

PCMagazine: According to comScore, online shoppers bought $1.028 billion worth of goods on Monday, making it the heaviest online shopping day in history. It was also the first time shoppers broke the $1 billion mark, and it was a 16 percent increase over last year's "Cyber Monday."

The average Cyber Monday shoppers spend $65.05. Nearly half of those shoppers made their purchases from work.
