In a survey, 36 percent of consumers planning to buy a laptop in the next 90 days said they wanted an Apple product.

Computerworld: In a survey conducted by ChangeWave Research, 36 percent of those who expected to buy a laptop in the next 90 days were planning to purchase a Mac. That's the highest showing ever for Apple in a ChangeWave survey, and it's an 11 percent increase since October. "Odds are [consumer interest is due to] Apple's refreshed MacBook Air line, featuring a slimmer design, multi-touch glass touchpads and solid-state flash memory," said ChangeWave's Paul Carton.

Among those surveyed, 22 percent were planning to buy an HP product, and 19 percent were looking to buy a Dell, that company's lowest showing ever.
