New Cluster GPU instance offers performance benefits for graphics-intensive applications.

TechWorld: Amazon is bringing the power of graphics processing units (GPUs) to the cloud. Amazon Web Services is now offering a Cluster GPU instance through its EC2 platform. The new instance offers performance benefits for rendering and other media processing tasks.

The "Cluster GPU Quadruple Extra Large Instance" gives EC2 users access to two Nvidia Tesla M2050 "Fermi" GPUs, each with 448 cores and 3 GB of RAM.
