Computerworld: In yet another legal dust up related to its Street View service, Google is facing more questions from German authorities. The homes of German citizens who opted out of the service are supposed to be blurred in Google Street View. However, a technical problem has made those homes visible to iPhone users.
"We will wait and see if Google will solve the problem with the blurring," Johannes Caspar, head of the Data Protection Agency for Hamburg, said. "If this is not done, we think Google can't go online with Street View."
The blurred images are also viewable on PCs if the user zooms out far enough.
