Only 4% of Adults Use Location-Based Services

New Pew poll reveals that "geosocial" services aren't catching on that quickly.

TG Daily: A new poll from the Pew Research Center finds that "geosocial" services available through Foursquare, Facebook and others have a long way to go before they're part of the mainstream. Only four percent of adults in the survey said that they use location-based apps. Use of geosocial apps was highest among younger Americans and those who own mobile phones.

The report points out that Twitter had the same usage rates two years ago. Now a quarter of adults use the service.
