Companies Struggle with Cloud Compliance

Nearly half of the companies surveyed say they aren't confident that their cloud setups could pass a compliance audit.

TechWorld: Compliance software vendor Courion has released the results of a new survey which found that 48 percent of companies were not confident their use of cloud computing would pass a compliance audit. 78 percent of those surveyed could not identify the person in their organization responsible for the security of cloud data.

The survey also found that "zombie accounts" are a problem, with 64 percent of companies saying they were not confident that they could prevent former employees from accessing company software.
