Google Traffic Now Accounts for Record 6.4% of All Internet

The company has gained a percentage point of market share since the beginning of the year.

NYTimes: A new report from network security firm Arbor Networks says that all Google sites together now account for 6.4 percent of all Internet traffic. That sets a record and marks a full percentage point increase since the beginning of the year.

One of the biggest contributors to Google's traffic totals is YouTube, which transmits the equivalent of 24 hours worth of video every minute.
