As he leaves the company, Ray Ozzie tells Microsoft to get ready for the "Dawn of a New Day."

PCWorld: As he leaves Microsoft, Ray Ozzie has left a parting memo with advice for the company. Titled "Dawn of a New Day," the post urges the company to "do precisely what our competitors and customers will ultimately do: close our eyes and form a realistic picture of what a post-PC world might actually look like, if it were to ever truly occur."

The memo paints a picture of a world where the PC isn't as important as appliances and devices "we'll wear, we'll carry, we'll use on our desks & walls and the environment all around us." And he advises Microsoft to change to meet the challenges of this new world.
