Galaxy Tab On Sale Nov. 11 at Verizon for $600

Data plans for the iPad competitor will start at $20 per month.

Computerworld: All four major U.S. mobile carriers have announced plans to sell Samsung's new Galaxy Tab 7-inch tablet computer, but Verizon is the first to announce a firm date. Consumers will be able to purchase the iPad competitor November 11. It will cost $599.99, plus a $20 per month data plan.

Smaller than the iPad, the Galaxy Tab measures 4.7 x 7.4 x .45 inches and comes with both front and back cameras.
