CNN: According to a new report from the UN's International Telecommunication Union, 2 billion people will have access to the Web before the end of the year. More than half of those who will begin using the Internet in 2010 live in developing countries. However, developing nations still lag behind developed countries in terms of overall use. For example, while 65 percent of Europeans use the Internet, only 10 percent of Africans do so.
The report also revealed that only 8 percent of the world's population has broadband.
