PCMagazine: HP has announced the availability of two new products, the first to use the "Palm" brand name since HP acquired that company. The more important release is WebOS 2.0, the Palm mobile operating system. For this upgrade, HP has added a number of developer APIs to spur the creation of apps. New features include Flash support, "Stacks" for multitasking, Skype integration on Verizon phones, Bluetooth keyboard support, VPN support and support for Facebook and Yahoo IM.
HP is also releasing a new smartphone--the Palm Pre 2. It looks a lot like the existing Pre, but has more impressive hardware specs.
