Global CIO: SAP is in the midst of a dramatic change in the way it does business. "Large enterprises have begun to prefer simplicity to perfectionthat was not the case before the global economic crisis," noted co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe. "We knew we needed to simplify the consumption of our on-premise offering."
To that end Hagemann Snabe and fellow CEO Bill McDermott have spent eight months attempting to make the company and its products more people-centric. "Instead of building software for companies, which SAP has always done, we are now designing software for people," said Hagemann Snabe.
