U.S. Busts $3M 'Zeus Trojan' Cyber Crime Ring

Thirty-seven individuals have been charged; twenty of those have been arrested.

PCMagazine: The Manhattan U.S. Attorney has brought charges against 37 people for helping to steal $3 million out of dozens of bank accounts in a scam involving the Zeus trojan. The malware, spread through e-mail messages, installed keylogger software on victims' systems. Criminals then used the login credentials recorded by the keylogger to access bank accounts and transfer money to other accounts.

So far, twenty of those charged have been arrested; seventeen are still being sought.
