IT Budgets, IT Salaries Will Rise in 2011

61 percent of executives are planning to give IT workers a raise next year.

eWeek: A new report from the Society for Information Management (SIM) reveals that 61 percent of executives plan to give their IT workers a raise in 2011, and only 10 percent will be reducing salaries. IT budgets are also likely to rise with 38 percent of those surveyed planning an increase next year, 27 percent a decrease and 35 percent no change.

The survey also revealed that IT employee turnover rates have been very low this year.
