New 7-inch tablet said to be appropriate for both consumers and enterprises.

PCMagazine: On Monday, RIM took the wraps off their new "PlayBook" tablet, ending speculation about a so-called "BlackPad." The new device measures 5.1 inches by 7.6 inches by 0.4 inches and weighs less than a pound, making it, in CEO Mike Lazardis' words, "super comfortable to hold." Key features include a dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, 1GB RAM, front and rear cameras, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, built-in support for Flash and HTML 5, and the QNX mobile operating system that RIM purchased earlier this year.

The company said the device would suit both consumers and enterprise users.
