Google Rolls Out 2-Step Security Log-in for Docs

New feature may help convince enterprises that Google Docs is secure enough for business use.

Daily Tech: In an effort to boost the security of its cloud-based apps, Google has unveiled a new two-step authentication process for Google Docs. The feature, which is currently an option in Google Apps Premiere, Education, and Government editions, could help convince more large organizations to switch to Google Apps.

Google says it will be adding the two-step verification process to its standard tools in coming months.
