Another Study Shows iPhone Market Share is Dropping

A new comScore report says Apple, RIM, and Microsoft all lost market share while Google gained ground.

Daily Tech: A new report from comScore says that while Apple's iOS is still ahead of Google's Android operating system, it's losing ground. In fact, all the major smartphone players are losing market share while Google is gaining. Blackberry was down 1.8 percent, Apple down 1.3 percent, Microsoft down 2.2 percent and Google up 5.0 percent.

For now, RIM's BlackBerry retains the lead in the U.S. smartphone market.
