Bing Overtakes Yahoo as No. 2 Search Engine

Google still dominates with 65 percent of U.S. searches.

NY Times: According to research firm Nielsen, Microsoft's Bing is now the second most popular search engine in the U.S., taking over the slot from Yahoo. Google still dominates U.S. search with 65 percent of the market. By contrast, Bing has 13.9 percent of searches, and Yahoo has 13.1 percent of searches.

Bing began powering some Yahoo searches in August.
