Redmond's Enhanced Migration Experience Toolkit (EMET) can help enterprises block attacks on the newest Reader/Acrobat vulnerability.

Computerworld: Microsoft and Adobe have confirmed that Microsoft's Enhanced Migration Experience Toolkit (EMET) can help enterprises block attacks against the PDF vulnerability revealed last week. The recently upgraded EMET was designed as a stopgap to help companies maintain security while waiting for applications to be upgraded.

The latest version of Adobe software, which should become available soon, will include sandboxing technology, which would also provide protection against this type of attacks.
