A video playing on the giant Times Square screen portrays Eric Schmidt as a creepy ice cream man.

Computerworld: Consumer Watchdog has produced a new video satirizing Google's privacy practices and is airing it on YouTube and the 540-square-foot screen in Times Square. The video portrays Google CEO Eric Schmidt as a creepy ice cream man who is handing out free ice cream while secretly spying on children. The group hopes their efforts will raise interest in a "Do Not Track Me" list similar to the "No Call" list.

A Google spokesperson responded by saying, "We like ice cream as much as anyone, but we like privacy even more. That's why we provide tools for users to control their privacy online, like Google Dashboard, Ads Preferences Manager, Chrome incognito mode and 'off the record' Gmail chat."
