"Priority Inbox" will move the most pressing and important messages to the top of the list.

Reuters: Google is rolling out a new Gmail feature called "Priority Inbox" which moves a user's most pressing messages to the top of the list. While the feature is considered "experimental," Google hopes it will help people deal with e-mail overload. Gmail decides which messages are most important based on an algorithm which considers how often a user exchanges messages with the sender, which messages get read, which get replied to, and user rankings of messages.

According to Google, people who use the feature spend 6 percent less time managing their e-mail accounts.
